preorders for the FFVII Advent Children DVD and a Limited Edition

With Star
Wars Episode III making a killing in the theaters, NCS starts
preorders for a Star Wars Rain Lightsaber that's basically a fancy
name for an umbrella. Preorders pour in... unexpectedly... especially
at US$85/per. NCS also starts preorders for Final Fantasy Advent
Children Swing figures which are shipping in September and an issue of
Famitsu PS2 which includes a playable preview of PSP Tenchi no Mon
on a UMD sampler. The weather finally perks up and temperatures swell
into the 70s. It's about time since we were still in the 40s and 50s
last week. |

release of the PSP in the USA helps boost export sales exponentially
in the past couple of weeks as units like gang busters. We have two
main suppliers of the PSP Value Packs and midway through last week,
they both raise their prices which hampers sales somewhat but they're
still strong... just not as strong as before. |
